Just an update. The router is not restarting since the day I connected it to UPS after your suggestion Susubh. Thanks for the tip as it has fixed that part of the problem. The only bad thing is that I had not removed all the connections from my UPS prior to adding the router and modem. The desktop monitor connection was still attached. I do not use my desktops much but when I tried to switch on the desktop yesterday it was not working. The monitor seems to have been damaged due to the 16-18 hours a day power supply from the UPS. I am still not sure how that happened as I have also used my desktop a lot in the past and monitor is also a part of the desktop. So, not sure how the monitor got damaged. Anyways I was planning to upgrade the desktop to some modern configurations as those are still using dual core with 1GB RAM. Maybe it was coincidence that it happened so that I can upgrade as a whole. The monitor is still 19' and hope that it not completely screwed though and hope that it is minor glitch as that was working absolutely fine.

Thanks Susubh. Good idea. I anyways do not use my desktop and my router is beside it too. So, I can use up one of the points in the UPS probably for that. Good idea for solving the evening time worries. :001_tongue: Will try it out today. Thanks buddy.
