Even I ported my Reliance CDMA to Idea prepaid. The process was smooth. Reliance retention team guys did call me lot of times before authorizing the port-out but I never answered their calls.

Great. Reliance number is dead now. Vodafone would not activate the phone because of some technical problems on their systems. The guy seemed so bored on the phone like he was sleeping or something.

Its tough for some people to remain without mobile these days. Hope your dad is not too upset.

Well. The first experience with Vodafone has not been quite pleasant. No idea how long the number has been offline already. And now he wants me to wait till noon tomorrow. Well he is not upset right now because he is sleeping. But he would be in the morning if they do not activate the phone by around 8am.

Yeah. Called an hour ago. The dude said that it would be activated in an hour. Have not checked yet. Coz as soon as it is activated, dad would force me to transfer the numbers. :
Any ideas if Nokia 206 is compatible with their PC Suite or whatever. If I can create the address book on the computer or something like that? Seems tough considering the phone came with no PC cable or whatever.

Is there an option on Android phones to transfer contacts to SIM or save new contacts to SIM? I can use my phone to make it faster?
Also needs to check what plan the phone is on. : Did not bother about it at the time of MNP.

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.shao.Copy2SIMI've used this to copy to sim. However, how do you plan to export the contacts from the CDMA phone/Sim?
