Hello, After a long wait finally managed to get my TS HD box. When I power the box on after setup , the DVB SSU loader download screen appears and it shows 0% after about 5-6 minutes it shows some kind of failure screen with a 0000 and ? . So basically the initial download fails. I have tried powering on/off , but each time its the same. I am an existing TS user , with my SD box , I get have a good signal strength (80-90%). So I dont think this is due low signal. The TS engg. who came to do the installation think its an issue with the box. However they say for a replacement it will take 2-3 days. The TS helpdesk ppl as usual are clueless.Anyone of you seen / faced / heard of such issue with the HD box. Is there a Software Patch or something avbl ?

Hd was installed at my place on 1st of july and the same problem happened (the software was not getting downloading) however the installation guys kept on checking the dish outside (they were checking the signals and the direction of dish i think!!) and after about an hour the software started downloading !!!! Bt after installtion the sound didn't come when connected through HDMI cable, Still struggling to get the damn STB replaced, making a call to CC every 3-4 hours getting the same reply that engineer will visit my place by the end of the day!!

Yesterday the engineer was installing HD STB at my home and the software got downloaded completely, but while installation, it did not went further after the screen of signal stength. The guy took back the STB to service center for installing the software via pc.And as i am typing this i got a call that he is coming in 1 hour.
Well First Tata Sky HD Boxes are Not available in Market and Those who get Tata Sky HD boxes luckily through online booking, first have to wait for 3-7 days for installation and now their is some problem it seems with most of the boxes that they are faulty as lot more people faced the same complaint.
hey for overcome this problem when first time u connect your hd box and downloading software dont connect it via hdmi .
simply connect it via av cord ( only yellow red white ) then download the software first and then connect your tv via hdmi ..

Does the A/V OUT matter , since the download is through the SAT-IN .
Anyway I was lucky to have my box replaced quickly , for the new box the setup was smooth. The TS engg. said they have faced this prob with a few of these new boxes.
simply connect it via av cord ( only yellow red white ) then download the software first and then connect your tv via hdmi ..

I don't agree. I got my box and connected it with HDMI. It downloaded the software (while Tata Sky was on the phone) and then in another 5 minutes it was up and running after Tatasky did the necessary changes to their accounts etc.
