yes at times i face this especially when am calling to reliance....dunno why its like that..but when i try the same reliance number from Airtel it gets connected...

Network errors r usually in peak hours...from 5 to 8 pm...but i think its somewhat stable thse days...
ur right i also face the problem particularly when i call AIRTEL mobiles and i would face the problem from 5-10pm

I called the customer care once regarding this and the guy there told its bcoz of network congestion and vodafone is working on it...dont know when they will finish their work, maybe whn they finish their work, all the customers of vodafone wud have shifted to other network providers:rofl:

when i had network problem, they told me it will take 6 months!!! i used to hear robot like voice of the other party.

skype problem must be because of low bandwidth on one side.

My son is using the service for many years now. His work required him to retain his connection code, hence he is reluctant to switch to another service. He has been after 'customer service' about call dropping, poor signal strength, etc. for many months now. They claim they have improved signal strength but the problem of 'poor signal strength' continues. Can any one suggest how exactly to escalate this further? Specific email ids, phone codes, names of senior persons, etc. My son stays in Andheri West and works at Parel when he is not visiting clients all over the city. Help please!

I've never used a Vodafone connection, but one of my friends, who bought a pre-paid from them recently, says that their service is HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE and HORRIBLE. I can say anything though, I've never used his phone either. But, judging by the ADS they put....I don't think there would be anybody who doesn't know about Vodafone.

Not much you can do if the problem is in different parts of the city at different times, apart from change ur number(which u can't :( ).Trust me I'd written to the Nodal Officer and the response I got was" we are planning to add more towers in the next 2-3 months,Kindly bear with us":wall:

I had a signal problem when I moved into my present house 2.5 yrs ago, and lived with bad signal quality, etc for a year and a half coz i also could not afford to change the number

About a year ago Airtel started canvassing all the tall buildings in our area to set up towers and offer special plans if a large number of people in the same CHS took their postpaid connections.
Guess that scared Vodafone and they set up new towers:rofl:.Not facing any problems since the last whole year

I'm using Hutch since Jan 2006. I never faced any problems...But since last 2 weeks, there's absolutely no network in my mobile at all. Cant send/recieve calls/messages at all. Thought its my mobile problem...but later came to know there's no problem with my mobile. If i just come to the road outside my house (which takes just 7 steps), I get full network signal. But just if i step in my house, signal just vanishes....I'm from Bangalore. Called 111 and they heard the problem and said they will connect to another person and kept me in line for 15 long minutes and i got fed up and disconnected....

I'm from Chennai. I have a serious problem with my sim card. For the past 3 days I couldn't send/receive SMS :wall:. But today I couldn't even make/receive calls:wall: it shows no network:cry:. I have mailed my complaint to Vodafone Customer care Chennai. Do anyone face similar problem in chennai. If someone has any solution please reply.
