got my airtel problem sorted out. The procedure is pretty simple, you need to go to their gallery and start abusing, name calling incessently. No need to take a token. Your complaint will be addressed in 5 mins Imran, I got my bill for this month and I am COMPLETELY CONFUSED. They have charged me 50p for SMS to hutch numbers in Mh & Goa. But calls are still charged at 1.69. WTF is wrong with these guys?!

On Prepaid they charge sms to Hutch Mh and Goa at 2Rs and treat it as National Sms.Hutch is completely ridiculous. Unexplanable rates...

I am not going to talk to them right now as i am very busy. I will talk to them once my work load reduce. This is absolutely pathetic on part of Hutch to charge one thing, tell something else, and bill something absolutely different!

With the above arrangement, calls within a State in the above-mentioned four States would be treated as intra-service area call for the purposes of routing as well as Access Deficit Charges (ADC). The dialling procedure for calls within a State for these States would also be simplified i.e. dialling of mobile-to mobile subscribers and fixed-to-mobile subscribers would be without prefixing ‘0’. Thats what the Lady whom I spoke to said, TRAI order does not mention anything about sms charges and so Hutch can fix sms charges within the prescribed ceiling.

Your's is a different case bec all ur local calls are @0.5/min so you can give them a tough fight regarding call tariff. In prepaid as they said they are charging local calls within Maharashtra but promotional offers can be regulated by them, i.e hutch to hutch calls @30p/min is a promotional offer and so they can limit it to only hutch mumbai numbers....

EDIT: I guess u are on Full Value 299 plan, on that plan also it says Calls to local Hutch phones @50p and all other local mobile phones is 1.69/min but thats cheating because Hutch Mumbai and Hutch-MS is one circle now and according to it Hutch (MS) should be charged at 0.5/min instead of 1.69/min...

Max, I suggest u to call on 022-56645000 (Ext:5253) and ask for Mr. Harit Nagpal (Appellate Authority at Hutch).If they give u wague reasons for not connecting to him tell the person who picks up the phone: "I am about to file a case against Hutch in the consumer courts soon and also this call is being recorded". I am sure they will immediately connect u to Mr. Nagpal or maybe take ur contact and call u later.Whenever u speak to Mr. Nagpal dont tell him the issue on phone, just tell him that there is a longstanding issue which nobody at Hutch wants to resolve and so I have decided to file a case in the consumer courts against Hutch. He would tell u to tell him everything tell him I would like to fix an appointment with you so that I can meet you in person to explain u the whole issue and fix up an appt with him at a date and time which is suitable for u.The reason I am asking you to meet him in person and explain him the issue is because on phone u do not get enough time to respond and they take advantage of it to close the call and close the issue. When u meet him in person u can take along ur bill, Trai order of circle merger and ur plan details which clearly indicates ur call charges and then u would in a better position to explain the matter to him and demand an explanantion of why you are being overcharged and also harassed.

does anyone notice that when u r roaming (i.e. when incoming calls are also charged) you get more promotional offer calls then u get when u r in mumbai.i doubt if that is done of purpose.generally when in mumbai i get avg 1 call per month but whenever i go out of maha, i have noticed i get atleast 3-4 calls a week.strange and suspicious!

yes first time i did that. they sent me email that i have been put on DND list but i was still receiving promo calls.i did it again recently. i have not got call till now but i havent been outside maharashtra as well, so not sure.
