This outrageous thing happened to me a few days back.

Everyday prerecorded calls come from Hutch playing songs and selling some service. They are very annoying. Few days back a Hutch telemarketer naming himself Vineet called me from 9811679934 and immediately in annoyance I abused him and cut off the phone. Then he called me 2-3 times from Hutch numbers-9811679934,9873822753 and I didn't pick the phone.

Finally when I pick up the phone on a call from 9811090354 this Vineet started abusing me back and threatened to terminate my connection. I told him go ahead, I will get another for Rs. 100. At this he started to threaten me saying he has my name and address and he would be "coming with others."

This is what Hutch has become, a den of time-passers and criminals who are privy to our personal information and issue criminal threats to us.

I have lodged a complaint with the police against this !@!@##$.

Thats not Hutch but private agencies trying to sell cards or getting prepaid customers converted to postpaid for some commission from Hutch.Just write an email with all details and phone numbers u got a call from and send it to the Nodal officer of Hutch-Delhi ([email protected]). Demand an explanation from Hutch. You will surely get a response.Keep us posted!

right. u just have to contact the right hutch people. filing a complaint with the police is also the right step... though its doubtful they would trace the number and catch hold of the guy making the calls.having an FIR in hand in this case would really come handy...

Do mention in the complaint you write to Hutch that u already filed an FIR with the police and are thinking to file a Case in consumer courts against Hutch (even if u have not thought on those lines, just write in the email to the Nodal officer, so that they reply u quickly and take it very seriously.......).

kick some ass. i say kick some serious ass.if u dont get any response from the hutch people within a day or two. just go to the consumer forum. that should teach them a lesson. muahahhaaaa. :|

Oh btw u can get in hutch's dnc list by sending DND to 144 :P . All advertisement calls from hutch and most of the agencies that follow their list , will not call you anymore .
