Problems with Vodafone India

like other operators like airtel and aircel they are now going in the same direction:madness:
 
Hai, :@ I think much of the subscribers are not satisfied with Vodafone India. They activate unwanted services to accounts and wil argue that we ourself did it accidentally,and will deduce money. CC wont answer even to complaint mails. In my case they sucked approximately RS.75?- in one year inself. How pathetic condition.......... If any onlookers,pls abandon your trials for Vodafone....
 
Vodafone is reduced to nothing but a marketing company. They have outsourced their IT requirements to IBM, Towers hived off to a separate subsidiary called Indus Towers (the largest Tower Company and is a joint venture between Airtel, Vodafone and Idea) and Call Centres functions to companies like Intelenet Sparsh, HTMT etc. The staff there are typical to Domestic BPOs: poorly trained (Team Members give inconsistent answers), job-hoppers, working 6 days a week and meagre salaries (infact however higher you pay, it would never be enough for them :D)

They seem to only spend on Zoozoos and sponsoring shows like Bigg Boss 3 or Indian Premier League. They pay a lot of importance to marketing their brand than caring for customers. Compare this to a search engine like Google...it never advertises itself, just focuses on customer needs and voila it is a very powerful company commanding enormous respect from many internet users.

I somehow feel when it was under Hutchison Whampoa owned Hutch (even Orange), they really cared for customers until they began to imitate Airtel. After that all the Telecom operators began to outsource their major functions :madness:


I agree dude..and u try being sarcy with these domesti bpo guys and they immediately put u on mute or hang up on u!! It was much better when it was orange..their customer service rocked!!! At the end of teh day all these companies are just marketing companies..as that gets them revenue, all other non core fucntions are outsourced!! THey are not manufacturers just like FMCG companies who market their prodcuts hence you'll always find that the best channel sales guys from telecom are from the FMCG companies!!
 
Recently I got a prepaid Vodafone to avail Citibank Tap and Pay feature. its been two days and still the sim isn't acitivated. I called umpteen times to the Call center and was in for a rude shock( I use Airtel postpaid and Airtel Broadband n used to good customer care). Not only are they poorly trained when I pressed a little harder like connect me to your supervisor they just hung up. This has never happened to me with any other customer care.:madness::madness::madness:The I visited the vodafone store a couple of times, everytime they say it wil be acitivated in 15 mins etc.Lost patience and threw the sim and gained peace.:wewin::wewin:
 
^^^ You should have emailed them. Web support executives are pretty smart & efficient too. Personal experience !!
 
i got the RS.95 recharge for 500mb vodafone live internet web surfing and downloading usage for 30 days. :happy:at time of recharge my balance was RS.205.41. and i got a confirmation message of recharge successful. after that i started using itafter some web browsing, ovi downloads.i checked keeping my balance in between to make sure that plan has been activated and it was not decreasing.but all of a sudden after youtube usage my balance came down and it's now only RS.148.31. :huh::madness:called up vodafone.customer care was clueless.they said wait their system takes 4-24 hrs to update.upon my asking wether my 60 rupees will be credited back he said he can only tell if i call after 4-24 hrs.so whose fault is it?one thing i noticed i got message of recharge successful at 8:52 pmbut i got message at 9:44 pm that unlimited data has been activatedso please tell how to tackle this situation.and will i get my money back.and how to tackle the vodafone customer care.i will go to vodafone store if nothing happensi want my balance back
 
umm i think u used it while it was'nt activated . try telling them you want your credit back or you want an urgent disconnection from the service and keep track of the people you talk to and send them an email to at their customer care about your situation see if it helps
 
they will refuse to give refund earlier but if u keep following up they will refund the money after 2-3 weeks of try! i got refund after 2 weeks when i didnt download a game and they claimed i did.

It may not be vodafone fault
what settings you are using?

like Airtel has different settings for airtel live & nop

first confirm whether you are using the correct settings or not
