Actually dude u cant directly complaint to nodal officer. if u approach him for the first time he'l not even be a bit helpful.
After Approaching the customer care, if they dont give u a satisfied response then u need to approach nodal with the provided complaint no in the customer care:readtherules:
That's not true. I have no interested in complaining to retarded CC so I just Email/call the nodal officer's dept. directly. It works each time and I get much better treatment than CC.

On the 7th of Jan 2011 my bonus card (Rs 51/- validity 365 days Mumbai circle) I subscribed for last year expired. This card gave me
V2V at 40p/min
V2O at 50p/min &
STD at 50p/min
Where the first minute of the day for each of the above will be at standard rate
I went to the mini store at Shivaji Park Mumbai & got the bonus card it had all the details which I mentioned above & I did the needful to renew my bonus card.
But when I started to make makes I found the calculations were not correct, a friend told me to check that the conditions might have been changed & I could have been sold an old card, so I went to the website & to my horror I found that the conditions had actually been changed
now the conditions are
All local V2V @40p/min.
All other local/std calls @50p/min.
First local V2V/local V2O/std call at standard rates. Valid for 365 days
& I had indeed been sold an OLD BONUS CARD & WAS NOT INFORMED AT THE STORE. So members who read this when you go in for a renewal of bonus cards go to the website & check if the conditions have been changed, in all probability it will be as the company had to pay a bomb to the govt for 3G & is busy devising new ways to fleece the customers. Since I have a very very large credit to my a/c, I cannot use the option of Mobile Number Portability as the balance in your a/c is not carried forward.:@

Vodafone allows balance transfer to prepaid mobile customers | Teleguru.in
Vodafone Balance transfer service Anyone |

Will you change service provider just because of this incident?

I have already checked & balance is not carried forward. :( My last sentence in post # 1 answers your question :)

---------- Post added at 10:31 PM ---------- Previous post was at 10:18 PM ----------

what's the difference between 2 conditions ???

In the first case
the first min is charged at the standard rate ie, Re 1/- per min for V2V the second minute (& all following minutes) will be at 0.40p per min &
for V2O the first min is charged at Re 1/- the second (& all following minutes) minute will be at 0.50p per min and in the case of STD first min is charged whatever is the standard rate applicable depending on the location you are calling the second (& all following minutes) minute will be at 0.50p per min.
In the second case
the first call of V2V whatever the length of the call the charge is Re 1/- per min
the first call of V2O whatever the length of the call the charge is Re 1/- per min
and in the case of STD whatever is the standard rate applicable depending on the location you are calling.

UPDATE : And the worst part is the confirmation sms I got says 'Aapke sabhi local Vodafone calls 40p/min aur baki local & STD calls 50p/min. din ka pehela min ka charge hoga full rate par! Validity 365 days!'

@jalanbkearlier 1st minute was charged at standard rates now 1st call is charged..so if u didnt know abt that condition then u might talk 10mins for 1st call and realise that instead of 9 scheme minutes.. u got nothing.

I don't see any so called Vodafone CC who visit this forum replying to this clear case of cheating. Will write a stinker to the Nodal officer but I dont think it will make a difference as they are all thick skinned loyalists.

If at all you get a call don't expect anything but some silly platitudes coz they cannot do more as they are in an official looting spree as they have to pay big bucks for 3G. Don't expect the CC to come to this thread as they have only two options, blame you:readtherules: or make some pathetic excuses :@

You expected a 365 days old plan to remain same, this is your fault, its just not possible to recall all the cards from market and then send the newer promo cards.Due to huge competition each mobile operator is facing, its more likely plans change every few months, however you should remember that line which states that they can modify/discontinue any plan without prior notice. So i would blame the retailer who sold you the card, the staff there may not be trained properly, but calling the entire company cheaters is very childish. No i don't get paid to support any operator but its not fair to do public leg pulling for mistake/incorrect information from mini store. All i can suggest is You should ask them to disable that promo and if possible refund you the amount as its incorrect info given by their store.

thakns yaaar .. u told me the same .. was thinking to go for the same kind of plan . they have same kind of where u r call are 30 paise for first 3 month and then its v2v 40 paise and oterh 50 paise ..
