Pehle mane ke to aakho divas bayra ni serial joya kare?I am happy with new version and I am sure it will be change soon since I seen ads on other forums.Also Channel addition and software udpataion is different things. We can hope new channels soon.::dance:

Sony is the best channel to compare BIG TV logo as both of them almost share a same kind of square and its easy to compare size of BIG TV logo to a standard size of SONY logo.

I know yar software updation is different than channel addition... after upgrading software, it shown a message - "New channels found on your STB" and i was hoping lots of channels alongwith "Colors" but got disappointed as it scanned but shown same as 191 channels at the end.

ya, i was expecting a same. i am not so passionate about "khatron ke khiladi" but really wanna see that sajid khan's show but i am disappointed too.

i wish, they add "Colors" soon! (and also few other music channels like.. B4U, ETC and many others)


i was hoping they would add COLOURS channel this time:(
 
Big TV STB shows message when they add new channels on their system or we have channel. I seen a list of 250+ chanels in SOD forums where all bigger channels are there including Colors. Also when we contact CC they tell that testing is completed and soon you will see channel but when we asked time they decline it.So keep finger cross:D Also launching takes time so enjoy free viewing as I am watching it for 1 months free even after 3 months:thumbsup:

well notice that the artifacts increased when they added 191 ch the more the channels they add the the worse the quality,the qulaity was better when there was just 5 radio channels now they have added 10 radio ch,and according to CC they will add another 10 more to a total of 20.i mean who would listen to those radio channels, that to on a tv which consumes more power then a dedicated stereo not to mention the quality difference.

Now I can say >>> ---- Beware of BIG TV and RELIANCE ----(may be its too early to say that but just saying as per my experience while talking on phone. Read details below and you will come to know, why?)

Today, i called up CC and they really really really SUCK.

Let me tell you what happened.

I called up to lodge a complaint for STB getting hanged. That was a just a simple complaint i was trying to lodge and guess what?

A hell lot of hassles i have gone through.

[1] Rep talked to me for over 20 minutes!!!
[2] He was keep asking me (or may be confirming) every single things for 4-5 times what i was telling him (That was really annoying)
[3] After telling him every single thing - he was putting me on hold for 1-2 minutes saying that "i am going to gather more knowledge and will give you a solution, please wait"
[4] In between, he also played a trick - "Sir, are you in front of your TV? is that problem happening right now? If not, please call back when it happens so that we can guide you thouroughly"

What the F ???????????

I am a bit smart too. I said "hang on --- see, it happens now. tell me what shall i do now?"

LOL

and he said "try to do something with remote", "try from STB" and even he said some foolish things "check the batteries in your remote"

bullshit!!!!

Finally, he took a complaint after 20 minutes of discussion and when i asked for a complaint number, he said "i will have to put you on hold for sometimes, it will take time" - i asked "how long" and he said "2-3 minutes"

Man.... that was completely F****** wasting of time.

He actually took 2-3 minutes just to raise a complaint!!!!!!!!

Imagine, they havent launched commercially and they are taking 2-3 minutes just to raise a complaint. What will happen after a launch?

He finally gave me an 8 digit complaint number which starts from "7358----"

I couldnt digest this sort of customer service!

At last he said "your problem will be sorted out within 48 hours".

Lets see what they do! i am hoping someone come alongwith a new STB and replace my existing one. Lets see how they tackle this problem. That would give me a clear picture of their intention. (Just here to earn money or to make a mark in a market).

Bottom line is that i didn't have any good experience with it. (Same as our other Call Centers. Making reasons, giving excuses and trying to make us fool).
 
you are forgetting the part that it is from reliance. the same company which has a bad reputation when it comes to mobile services.

I can understand. its a same company but look at the hype (even before launch) and imagine a hype after they will start marketing on TV.

If they can advertise well (with 80% impact) then we expect a product with 100% quality and customer care HAS TO BE 200% friendly, co-operative and highly skilled/knowledgable.

Anyway, no point of discussing their CC issue right now. Lets see how it goes after launch and lets see how they tackle my issue. I will update soon (after 48 hours, lets see what sort of solution they will give me) LOL

well thats was what i have been through ,infact now 90% of the customer care people know my name,since i used to to call them atleast once a day i stopped calling them from 10days or so,when i call them then no longer say all the troubleshooting method but strait away give the complaint number. or they pass it on to there superviser.
 
@adderok.. but whats an outcome? any solution did they give yet? if yes, what sort of it? any clue of changing this existing faulty STB with a brand new one (same as shown on a site?)
