@soulroute so are you planning to continue the service or asking to put you on preview plan.

I am going to keep myself away from this mess, now Act fiber looks great to me after hearing this.
Initially, I asked them to revert me back to the free preview offer plan. They would have anyways deducted 1000 rupees for installation (non refundable part) of the second connection. The lead sales officer pleaded, requested and quoted mutual friends so I finally succumbed and accepted the paid offer. Just another sucker!

He has promised to provide a Jio dual band router as soon as it becomes available so that I do not have to rely on my own router. He also maintained that since Jio has now bought Hathway and Den Network, something big on the lines of IPTV is in store but won’t commit on dates.

I don't think the plans would change and they are very desperate to earn money quickly. So they will try to force preview customers to take this useless plans.

And they will try to snatch extra ₹1000 from the early preview customers ( those who got before 5 September ) at the time of migrating to paid services by re-booking it as new connection making it only ₹1500 refundable !

They will also try to frustrate the customers who are willing to surrender the connections by saying that ONT is not in good condition and getting our deposit money back is not going to be easy...
Sounds quite plausible. However, the news in print media is that Jio may be compelled to bring down prices in at least gold and diamond plans category. At least diamond plan is absolutely ridiculously priced. The gold plan may find 250gb surplus in addition to the current 500+250 because higher speeds eat up data thick and fast.

They might be able to charge new customers as they are supposedly migrating everyone to a new paid platform. So it is possible that new customers can be directly placed on the paid platform. Whether it is ethical to do so with a free preview customer is a different matter. Let’s hope they find a way to migrate and not ask alll of us to get new connections.
I checked with the sales and installation heads here in Delhi NCR and they also stated that all new customers were now on paid plans.
They offered to put me on a higher speed plan if I cancel my connection and get a new one. The promised to install a new connection within an hour if I chose this option. I think we will all start geting such offers soon.

Guess this seems to be a sales team tactic rather than Jio as a whole. They'll migrate the old customers for sure w/o asking them to cancel their services. The sales team is trying to lure people to pull up their targets.

Looks like revamping of plans isn't going to happen.

Not a good idea to the expose the names of the junior level officials if they ever extended an apology or have been sympathetic at any point of time. You repaying them more harm than good.

I told them in advance that everything, every interaction is under audio-video surveillance. Everything is in black and white. They can’t charge shamelessly and later hide behind mom’s pallu, no?

i have shocking evidence against Omveer, Mukesh Pandey, Kishore and Mahadev (all from Jio) as well. Well, you need to keep a log of everything. Its‘s their word against yours. It is a vicious cut-throat materialistic world of selling false dreams to innocent customers that we have here, not a Utopia.
