Well, being a doctor or an IITian doesn't make one a greater human. I don't usually mention my profession anywhere online and there is no point in boasting about one's profession. A high ranking post or high IQ doesn't make you great, your behaviour and work do. And a forum is like a family. Every member deserves equal respect here.

BTW, I am a fan of the entire Marvel Universe

^ Who reads Quora in 2019? It's dead for knowledge. It's just that Google's Algorithm favors Q and A over Blog Posts where Wikipeida and FAQs are exceptional.

That is why Google is again trying to push Q and A with their neighbourly app (web interface is still not made)

Quora is new generation of Yahoo Answers now for Affiliate Marketing.

People promote their brands and stuff.

Secondly, a lot of fictional stories. There was a guy who was writing fictional stories everywhere and gained hundreds of thousands of followers. Later on his account was banned!

quora did tried to invite specialists/intellectuals from different field to write about their profession, do AMA but it was hijacked by our indian "let me tell you a story" and "copy pasta" team for some virtual points which destroyed quality content of quora.

in reddit and most good forums content is original not copy pasta without source. People copy paste whole articles from wikipedia and other sites and post as theirs on quora

I like forums more for nostalgia reasons made a lot of good friends, worked on stupid projects together lot of chats on msn without ever meeting each other. Never met those bob and vagena cringe people, internet was good and now its just sad with cringe.

reddit is good for niche content, mods keep check on quality.
