Was it set in U.S ? Do you have a U.S number ?
Firstly check your BSNL modem is configured , to connect to Internet.
Enable DHCP in modem. Range 192.168.1.2 to 198.168.1.254 ( or less )
Then change the RJ45 to Vonage unit.
Phone line =>splitter++>

I have connected a wifi

laptop from Vonage Port . ( when required )
My unit VonageVDV21-VD ( I cannot access because I I don't
have the userID and password )
To save yourself some time, please try the two following things before calling into us if you have no dial tone.
1. Give the device a reboot before calling. Just unplug the power, wait 15 seconds, plug the power back in and give it 2-3 minutes.
2. Make sure you can go online to www.google.com and can search for something you've never searched for before. If you're not able to you may be having an internet outage and a call to your ISP may be required.
