What's going on here??? from 26.03.2013 i'm getting too slow internet speed on my connection...What happening with bsnl? I think i should need to change my ips. Please anybody give me clear idean when bsnl connection will be cleared? or it will continue slow speed lifetime?? Recent days facebook and youtube has too problem to load....What to do???

layful: Same is happening with me.I have no problem regarding bandwidth or download speeds but latency.I use to play online games on european servers for which i got pings aroung 170ms to 200ms.but after 26th of march it is always over 300ms.I know the problem of cable cuts near egypt and i think that backup arrangements made by bsnl w.e.f 2nd april are not good enough for better pings.perhaps due to poor routing.After googling through a lot i got an impression that backup has been restored through an internet data exchange in dubai.so all traffic is routed through it causing high pings.Bibhuti Bhushan Barman said:

Two days has passed since my last update. BSNL is still pathetic for me and I have opened very less internet in the last couple of days but whenever I opened, BSNL was stuck with either extremely slow speeds or inconsistent speeds.... After seeing the low speeds (even more than before) I was worried if my computer had got virus or something (which is normally near to impossible with a higly robust defense mechanism which I keep) but then realized BSNL must be at fault as all my computers, tablets etc. were running slow internet when I tested variious devices .. BSNL normally perfoms terribly during rain or other problems but this year BSNL seems to be working erratically at periodic intervals (and almost regularly since the cable cut issue) without any external or natural influence .. BSNL needs to tighten their belts as people would gradually leave them if the quality of service is lacking for a long time .. people are anyways fed up of bribing the BSNL linemen every month and going through the sarkari processes.. at least the line was ok when it was good in the past but their quality of lines have also become terrible in recent years .. Bhai Saab Na So..o aur Jag Jao warna duniya mutthi me to chodo customers bhi mutthi me nahin rahenge
