Slow speeds on BSNL Broadband

speed is quite slow in pune too .. am on a 4Mbps plan , but am getting less than 512 kbps ... anybody else facing this in pune ?
 
Had the problem for a few hours last night. Right now seems to be fine here in Gurgaon.
 
Guys how much do you rate your BSNL wired or wireless connection in terms of speed and stability out of 10?
I was thinking of switching from EVDO to broadband since the service of EVDO is vey poor in my city. I am thinking to take plan 800 ULD which gives 1 mbps speed till 6 gb then 512 kbps after it.
I just want to know do u really get that much speed that is mentioned in plan? Its just i am not very confident about BSNL's service, i have EVDO and they promise to provide 2 mbps and i am only 3 KMS from the nearest tower so no issues with signals but the speed is very pathetic, i barely get more than 300Kbps (20-30KBps in idm) These days i am getting around 10KBps, and bsnl people are saying i am the first one to complaint about it, they are also saying i have faulty device so i tested with 3 devices, prithvi, micromax and zte, but same results. I am paying around 840 Rs pm for ULD plan on EVDO.

no .. pretty sure i haven't ... there was a outage a few days back in pune .. the problems started appearing after that .... i would smear myself with honey and lie down on a anthill than call helpdesk and try explaining the issue to them ....
 
man everyone facing the same problem what is happening here, bsnl has to do something of having these huge issues otherwise we have to shift from some other .....not a single day in this month i get the promised speeds...whats going on..

Why man? Did you try contacting senior officials? I've had very good experience with senior BSNL officials from Pune.

BSNL quality depend mostly on area. In my place it is good. Check with your neighbours
