Smartphone for 7-8k

My tailor has been after me for many days to suggest and order a smart phone for him online , he has 7-8k budget and wants a good brand phone , I did not want to get involved in this but feel stuck , he called me again today .

So need a suggestion in the budget for a android phone that is reliable and from a good brand ....

Xiaomi is easily available offline. Not sure about Motorola. Tons of other local brands.

Do not order the phone in your name. You can never tell where that phone would be used in the end. I suggest telling him to get it from a local shop with the bill in his own name. You do not want to get involved in buying a phone or registering a connection for someone else.

yea did not think of that, i guess no suggestion needed now, i will tell him no good deals available right now & i dont have any idea about offline

on5 was 1000off in Republic day sale. awesome phone. best thing is it always latches on 4g even with one bar while my redmi2 shifts to 3g. got 2 in family now.

agar j2 lena h toh buy from Paytm. cashback is all urs.

Requirement is similar, so sort of hijacking this thread.

Requirements are - Whatsapp, Video Chatting (Skype etc). Budget 6k - extendable up to 8k. Brand preferred, but Intex, Micromax are somehow now "brands"..So you can recommend I can float it even if its not the biggies. Since Video chat is important, I feel a good front camera might be preferred...
