[solved] Airtel engineer cancelling my requests

Airtel's support has degraded now with increase of customers.
I might disconnect the connection and move completely on Excitel.

@Juniper think twice before you move to excitel over airtel. While the CC support is super shit nowadays, Airtel is still one of the better ISPs with good latencies and routing for the most part and less caveats in their connection.
I am sticking to Airtel as of now because it works fine unless there's some outage. About this static IP thing, it doesn't matter to me as I didn't need it in the first place, it was just an experiment, jo shuru hone se pehle hi khatam ho gaya.
Also they have provided 1 year of Amazon Prime and Hotstar Subscription which saves me a decent amount of money. So disconnecting would be a foolish move for me.
No ISP is perfect, all of them come with some or the other trade-offs.

Look up the OUI of your gateway @Rickysin
Airtel mostly uses Juniper gateways, don't know what Huawei and Nokia they are talking about.

@albonycal the head here told me that they are changing equipment in delhi gateway. Engineers have very less knowledge about the New equipment and are in learning phase. So configuring static ip for them is taking time because my ip config was stuck. They have now given me deadline till tomorrow but i have already applied for disconnection. Lets c what retention team offers me.

I have also applied for disconnection due to somewhat same reason. I am told by NOC team, that my static IP will be running by tomorrow. I am not gonna disconnect lol its just to make them do things a little faster if it really bothers them.

I have currently upgraded my plan to 300Mbps. Though getting only 240-250ish on speedtest.net, 360Mbps on fast.com, 340-360Mbps on openspeedtest, 360-370Mbps on speedsmart.net and 360 on measurementlabs .

Today airtel guys did something in my society and rx power is -18dBm. So far I am feeling goood after upgrading to 300Mbps. But I do not understand why there is difference in speedtests on different testing websites? How to identify which one is fake and which one is genuine?
