So @Nishant recently mentioned this one as he has been progressively replacing all fans at his place with these units.

I am considering getting one for trial before I can decide on whether to start replacing all the fans progressively as well.

Opinions?

There are four models. Need to look into difference between them. The top end model has a remote which removes the need for a regulator so that sounds cool.

Great thing is that it is also available on Flipkart and other stores these days.

LOL, not plug and play. You will need an electrician for that. I know how to do it hence did it myself

Right, by motor I meant the central round part of the fan.

Its superfan! It could be plug and play technology!

Like detach this and detach that and you reach center.

Remove motor -pluck!

Fix motor - click!

Attach that and attach this!!

And you are done!

the term super is for super hideous.

Hehe. They should seriously consider getting rid of that logo/LED light on the motor. The LED on the new motor is even brighter now. It is impossible to sleep in the night with the fan on standby (turned off using remote). I like my room to be pitch black in the night.

the fan is so noisy at 1/2/3 speeds... it's like kryptonite.
