So @Nishant recently mentioned this one as he has been progressively replacing all fans at his place with these units.

I am considering getting one for trial before I can decide on whether to start replacing all the fans progressively as well.

Opinions?

There are four models. Need to look into difference between them. The top end model has a remote which removes the need for a regulator so that sounds cool.

Great thing is that it is also available on Flipkart and other stores these days.

How do you know that remote is working fine when fan itself is not moving?!

I tried all the buttons and the LED blinks.

never mind. the logo lights up only on remote operation i guess?

Yup, it blinks when we press any button on the remote. Like if we press the speed 5 on the remote, the light blinks 5 times denoting the speed.

Full replacement should be demanded and given

So what if infrared is broken!? You would not know! You shud ask them to bring remote as well just to be safe!

Now I wonder, may be remote is faulty?! And its not turning the fan on!

Is there manual on/off/speed switch somewhere?

What if you turn fan off and remote is lost somewhere under pillow or sofa etc. And you can not find remote.

How do you handle this situation?
