well if they do have 8mbps in my area, i would at least have the option to go for the 175GB plan. otherwise, the best they have on offer is 80GB 4mbps plan right now.

Unfortunately, you have to keep asking them if 8/16mbps is feasible on your line.

i have some issues with bsnl. but nothing as annoying as smartbytes redirection as of now. i hope to stick with it till better options are available.i am hearing reports that beam/act are planning to expand to major metro cities starting next year. though hoping for them to reach my place in gurgaon would probably be unrealistic

In my sector there is no airtel no rcom or even hathway only options are bsnl or tikona. Tikona is out of picture from past experience.So if they come to our sector they might get good business.

Apartment has their share of problems. Internal wiring/existing network is the biggest issue.

It's easier with apartments as you can sign an exclusive deal and less infrastructure is required to serve a large number of customers who are stuck with fewer options.
