Unable to use 4G on both SIMs at same time on Nokia 6.0

On my Nokia 6.0 phone I have two SIMs - Airtel primary and Jio secondary - I have selected Airtel SIM for 2G/3G calls and SMS and the Jio SIM for 4G data (I have disabled voice even though it works).

My query is - I am unable to enable 4G (and thus VoLTE) on both SIMs at the same time, I have to disable 4G on the Jio SIM to enable 4G on the Airtel SIM. Thus I cannot use my Airtel SIM for 4G VoLTE and use my Jio SIM for data only, at the same time.

Is this a limitation of my phone/android? If so, which Nokia models have capability to run both SIMs with 4G (and VoLTE) at the same time?

Yes, that is a limitation of your device, it doesn't support dual 4G/LTE standby. Newer phones do support it.

It looks like Nokia 6.1 supports it -- Look for Dual SIM Dual VoLTE on your next smartphone!

Probably hardware limitation, dual 4g did not work on my S8 , this is even older device.

Dual 4G VoLTE isn't supported in Nokia 6.0(2017)... I have this phone... They even didn't release an update for VoWiFi.

More of a software limitation atleast for s8. In s9 also they brought via software update. Even old processor like sd625 supports it. Mi a1 started supporting this via software update.

and avoid motorola/lenovo for now. they wont add s/w support for newer n/w features such as dual volte/vowifi if the phone was launched without those features

why so? i am thinking of getting a nokia next time too, mainly due to the stock android experience. unless there are other options with stock android.
