Where exactly in Central Chennai ? Just the locality info will do ? Thanks. They said they cannot give me a connection because, they needed to lay 150 m overhead cable to my home.

Not really mate. Rules are rules. Once i ran out, il switch to Thunder 1099 4mbps plan as backup & still enjoy normal speed.
