Urgent Help Required For Configuring Netgear Wifi

I have recently bought Netgear 108Mbps wireless firewall router WGT624v3. I am on Airtel 256 unlimited and my modem is beetel 220BX.Despite going through suggestions of many of the posts here on this board I am unable to connect to the Internet. I have tried to make the LAN IP address to 192.168.2.1 , but the I cannot log on to the router. I am an absolute NOOB as far as networking goes, but I really want to use Wifi. Please can somebody take me out of this painful experience and show me step by step what to do.Thanx in advance

^ I hope that you have user's guide for the Router .
it should contain detailed instructions for the setting
up . pls follow the guide .
