Is that HD Box comes with Bigger dish 90 cm or the same dish used for SD 60cm? If they provide bigger dish that can be pickup better signals in the cloudy/rainy times.....
Yes as Mascot mentioned, u get larger dish with HD connections. In fact very recently 1 fellow member npat also enquired this in Bangalore, that they wud get the broad dish with HD connection.
And about that deal, i think u confused what Mascot said, with the entry offer.
What Mascot said is - When u upgrade to HD DVR (or HD - though doubtful), u get Rs.1000 recharged in ur account.
And the offer that u saw is - Entry offer. I think u will get this entry offer only. The offer is lucrative, but that itself suggests - These guys know HD DVR is such a nice product, that no promotion is needed to sell it.
So do give a thought to an HD DVR. May be u will find it costs about 2.5k extra, but worth it, IF U DONT INTEND TO CHANGE UR DTH PLAYER TOO OFTEN.

I dont think Reliance offers these many TRUE HD channels. "HD Like" is totally useless. Heres a comparison that someone had made long time back.......
U take a 10 Rupees note, scan it, enlarge it & add two zeroes to it at the end. Lastly, print it to make it a 1000 rupee note.
In this, u tell me - That original 10 rupees note was better or the "Upscaled" 1000 rupees note is better? We have seen how Upscaled HD looks with Zee Upscaled HD. It was there as a Test channel on D2h for long time & then they discarded it. So go for SD connection, but not upscaled HD ones, just dreaming that it wud be looking awesome.
Theres nothing that "awesome" about it.
