I read in another forum that D2H has round and oval shaped dishes and the oval one is good in rain. Is this true? Also which type of dish comes with D2H HD? How is its performance in rain? Also do you know how D2h performs in kerala(signal strength and all)?

Yes, All d2h Dishes are round and little bit oval. 65 CM dish for d2h HD but in kerala may be they wud be providing 90 cm Dish as in kerala major rainfall happens if I am not wrong . Signal strength sud be equal everywhere whether its kerala or Mumbai. It must be 100 % .

I read in another forum that there is pixelation even on HD channels. If that is correct then i am afraid how would SD channels look? D2H channel packages are great but if the picture quality is that average then it not good. I know we can't expect the quality on par with Tata Sky+ but having really low quality is bad. Some one kindly post the screenshots of SD and HD channels of videocon D2H here so we can verify. Also please post comparison b/w Tatasky + and other DTH with Videocon D2H.

You won't find a single person using d2h HD either here or some other forum complaining pixellation issue in HD channels of videocon. Those who write such craps comments actually have never experienced d2h.Now that d2h have more then 4 million customers, do you think they all are fool to see pixellated contents. Bt its upto you which one to opt for depending upon the feedbacks and your analytical skills.Regarding comparision, its not allowed here. You can discuss abt d2h only in this section . I have been using Videocon d2h HD for 4 months now and the quality is really good.Considering the fact that I moved on after a horrible 2yrs with DIsh TV, the service is really good.The quality of channels - ExcellentEasy to recharge and prompt renewaleven though I pay close to 500/month, it is worth every penny

Their highest package is somewhere around Rs.440/-. Then why are you paying 500 bucks?
