Its not so bad dude. We all know that d2h does not provide 5.1 channel HDD but the stereo sound is quite superb.

Yeap, thats right, its bad, now i dont want to waste money in buying a Home Theater, thats a good news for me :)

But dont u people get 5.1 channel over HDMI or S/PDIF?I mean i have got fooled a few times, when i m engrossed in some other activity.

But they are claiming it. It wont be fair advertising, if they claim 5.1 & dont give it.

Bt whenever you ask CC, they will deny it. Of course they are not advertising it fairly.

Oh, u mean Call center guys ryt? They are totally dumb at most times. Else i have been fooled a few times......Very recently, by that song "Tere Mast Mast" of Dabangg. I was talking on my cell, and that song was playing on low volume on i think Star Plus HD. When that cycle bell rang, i actually turned back to see if any1 on cycle was trying to call me!PS: I live on ground floor, and quite a few times that thing has happened.

Ohh well, it's not a good enough news for 5.1 ch Home theater owners like me :( Their HDMI also provides only 19th century Stereo audio! And there's no optical or S/PDIF output on their HD satellite Box...

Calling such a signal as HD is certainly false-advertising, and cheating their customers!

@Jaymin Are SD channels in 16:9 resolution or are they stretched? Because in some thread i saw an image of the setup page of D2H and it had an option of specifying TV type. ie; 4:3 letterbox.

Also is the picture through HDMI cable of superior quality than that through AV cable?
