vvhbad thing is that they didnt print product no. & sr no. on the box. I wrote them why it is? I checked manufacture date on cap of remote & it was oct 2010. I cant open a/c on it.As you mention when you recharge your a/c & inform to cc they activated recording service. You mean no need of any technical person to activate the service? It is my first time. Then why they dont active my DVR services?Thanks.
 
they would have given you Application form copy with sticker pasted on it. That sticker contains Product No. and Sr. No . BTW did you called on the number which i mentioned in last post ??
 
I will contact.There they didnt paste any stiker like on general caf form. I too noticed that but there they didnt put any stiker.
 
No product no./Sr no...?? Thats strange. See the DVR packing box. If I remember the packing box also had the serial number. It would be a sticker.Call the CC and give your cust id. Ask them what is being shown as your product. The product name shown for me is SATELLITEHDDVR4611. Ask the CC guy to help you in registering online. They give you instructions and also they will tell you the product number. If your product doesnt show as DVR, they have made some mistake. Lodge a complaint and make sure you get the complaint number. The service time taken starts only after you register a complaint. Post your complaint number on D2h facebook wall. Also call The number given by IndianMascot. Give some time (probably one day) before you follow up.
 
Yes there is nowhere sr. no & product no. No on dvr, no on caf & no on box :(. Thanks for concern you three of you. I already sent a mail to [email protected] with cc to TRAI. I will call maybe after this noon.

My DVR take short pause after few seconds when I change channel. I this wrote too cc also.

You are wasting your time writing to IBF member. He is no more active here. It would be good for you to call d2h online team number which i had given . Escalating your issues to wrong person and then complaing of bad service is not justified buddy. Why are you waiting for afternoon. Call them rite now, give your customer ID and issue will be resolved. You can ask those Sr Nos also from this team.
 
I really waste my time if it is. I thought that the call only can made from BSNL / MTNL line but now I got it I can make it from my mobile too. My problem is I am in office now & other member will complain about me if they found me on mobile when I talk to unimportant call. I will do it in time of lunch time. Thanks & believe me I will do it till this noon. Thanks.

They will activate it on phone only dude. service needs to be activated from their system. no physical presence required. Mine and Jaymin too were activated after followup but that was instant. We both followed the Engineer who came for installation. Actually Jaymin only guided me for Recording facility activation when I purchased DVR.
