Videocon D2H HD DVR User Experience and Review

UTV star is in bad picture quality from begining. But mix had good Picture quality & Good sound Too but when engineer exceed signal strength many channels now are in bad picture quality. Surprising. Even I lost Sony mix's nice pq & sq.

I think I have to use 5 dishes for all tps & arrange those as those get better pq.

I think specific align each tp affect by alignment.

I use RCA connection & not mood in HD TV. I saw SD TV quality on HD TV from showcases of TV Show rooms. Matter is in showcases tvs has different settings for each tv.

I have two tvs. Either tv has component (5 pin sockets) connection tv. I think I use it for D2H DVR. Hope hope picture quality be better.

@gj112045 hddvr lenese pahale maine CC se poocha ki recording duration 200Hrs hai ya 71 Hrs, to unhone kaha ki agar HD channels record karenge to 71Hrs ka hoga SD channels record kare to 200Hrs ka hoga. shayad agle images se is bbat ka saboot milsakta hai.

software upgrade hone ke baad 71:32:39 HH:MM:SS ka hogaya


hddvr ka hd logo. yah software upgrade ke baad HD ka logo aaya. usse pahale sirf videocon d2h hi tha


software upgrade hone ke baad yah display aaya uske baad, hard disc currupte ho chuka hai, formate karne dvr use karna hai to formate karno, likha huva display aaya.

PRAJWAL KUMAR ne mujhe 10:10am phone kiya aur seeda distributor sehi door delivery karane ka vaada kiya. 10:15 ko distributor se mera baat huva agle din
subah hddvr pahunchane ka vaada kiya. 17/06/2011 11:30am ko dvr mere ghar pahoonchgaya.12:30p ko installation reqwest diya aur 02:00pm tak installation aur activation bhi hogaya.

mai to bahot khush hoon shukriya vineeth budki & prajwal kumar.

I didnt got DVR kit box. Did u get it from engineer which installed ur connection? My engineer only gave me HDMI cable after I request him after two days of installation.

I think its mention on box about USB cable but you not posted the picture it means u didnt get any USB cable right? I also didnt get 2aa batteries.

What do u mean by DVR Kit box? They give 1 main box and 1 small one which contains ur cables i guess.I have forgotten what came in which box!

ya dvr accessory box. I just got dvr box from shopkeeper & no any other box from dealer / engineer. Jaymin u got box by whom? from dealer / engineer?

I had got the accessory box from the engineer. He had brought the STB and the accessory box. That box had the HDMI, AV and USB cable

Thanks. I juts got a/v cable & I got HDMI cable only after demand the engineer. I think total loss for me is USB cable all over. Dont know HDMI cable is new / not.

Thanks to that member who told me to request HDMI cable to the engineer otherwise HDMI cable too I would loose.

Had u ever old DVR software? It's radio & movie menu were separate which was good n logo also was without world HD which was very nice. Engineer told me there was option in old software where u can play audio music through USB Drive but early D2H cancel the software cause of virus but u can watch images through itttt.

There were menu audio player in old software & over all the software was nice 2. I request to engineer to cancel software upgrade when they installed connection but he refused & done it.

Nope.. I got my D2h in October. Never had the old software. I have a IPTV. So any song/video I need, I stream it either from my laptop or thru youtube. Never seen a need for using USB port of STB

USB port to me is useless, unless it allows me to copy recorded media from there! And to ur question, i got my Box from Dealer.

Guys, I'm planning to take D2H today and could you guys tell me what to look for the best picture quality while installing and how to look. Should the signal strength and signal quality both be as close to 100%? What are the ideal values that I should look for? Someone here said that signal strength(or was it signal quality, I'm not so sure) always remains 100%. Also where on the set top box setting should I look for to see both the readings?PS: I didn't know where to post. So I posted this on another thread too. I'm not spamming.
