Leave alone the post paid plan.
2G users are almost killed with this killer pricing.

1GB @ 2G speeds is now Rs.175 instead of Rs.128
why don't they take Rs.500 per GB for that crappy speed, as a penalty to live on old gen. connectivity.
Thanks Aircel 3G is cheaper and you are left with slow speed to live with it, or make use of it and Top-up online and get the speed back without even the need to restart the connection.

'BSNL Now Offers Uniform 3G & 2G Tariffs, 1GB 3G for Rs 125'
For Vodafone customers in Mumbai it's
Bonus Card 125Mobile Internet - Recharge with Rs 125 and get 1 GB 2G data free for 30 days. Data charges of 10p/10KB to apply post free usageBonus Card 2511 GB data free for 30 days at 3G speeds. Video calling rates Rs.3/min on Home network and incoming call on roaming. Rs.4/min for outgoing calls while roaming.
BTW: They still havent reduced the 2G rate to 2p/10kb. in Mumbai even though they promised to do it in stages. The only stage they know is to fleece customers as long as possible.

Wow, what retards. On these times, 2g pricing should be like 50 bucks for a gb and 100 bucks for x3 data i.e 3GB. Wow, we are going old school. :(

People still use 2G data? I laugh at them.
I am not even sorry.
Dear even 3G services are not up to the mark in many places. And then the prices of 3G plans. In Rajasthan for example airtel 2G plan is 650 MB in 98 Rs and 1 GB 3G in Rs. 125. So that's the gap that makes the user's to use 2G instead of 3G. Because at many places, 3G signal is not available .

I had shifted to 3G about 16-18 months back but realized that most often, the signal strength was too low on my phone. once while sitting i saw the signal strenght go to zero, search and come back. I also got people telling me my phone was not reachable at times. Thats when i decided to opt out of 3g and shift back to 2g. Am on airtel, in chennai.
