Yeah! You need a WiFi router as you already have an ADSL router by Reliance, do you want your WiFi router to have the bitTorrent feature?

like i said earlier i can save some power usage & extend the life of my hardware

I've a Ethernet & DSL port in my router no WAN port.

Raj you got all confused I am not talking about the router that Reliance has provided, the new WiFi router that you want to buy should have a WAN port (the ethernet type RJ-45) not the telephone jack one that some members are getting confused with.

The setup will be something like this, the reliance ADSL modem / router will be connected and from the ethernet jack that comes out of the reliance modem that ethernet jack will go in the WAN port (ethernet Jack) of your new WiFi router and from there you can connect any other wired PC via ethernet from the 4 ethernet ports provided on the WiFi router.

Ppl just don't buy the ADSL version of the Asus WiFi router, we need the plain vanilla WiFi version.

Raj yes I know that is plain ADSL modem that reliance has provided to us, read my earlier post and let me know specifically what you did not understand. It is best to get a plain vanilla WiFi router that comes with the Standard WAN ethernet port coz tomorrow you change the ISP and they give you the internet connection via plain ethernet you with be a SOB if you purchased the ADSL WiFi router, but on the other hand if you buy the plain vanilla WiFi router it will work with every ISP.
