Finally separate volumes for ringtones and music. Notifications are welcome and work like Android or iOS. Cortana is useless in India.
This brings feature parity with other oses thankfully.

by useless in India you mean it doesn't work or what? Cortana anyday beats Google Now n Siri.

Cortana uses Bing. Bing has very little local data for India. Hence it is weak for local searches.

I am just speculating. Bing is not very good with Indian searches but Microsoft also has access to Nokia Here database which should be quite comprehensive.

Also I am not sure how good Microsoft's voice recognition technology is with Indian accents.

we'll have to wait for an year to know more abt it i guess! BTW sir on Lumia 525 while playing asphalt 8 i could see a lot of frame drops bcoz of which it was kinda unplayable.. Why did that happen? n Moto G too uses the same GPU i.e Adreno 305. Will the update solve that problem? The only reason i'm not buying lumia 525 is coz of that reason Though other racing games such as Real Racing etc. were running fine! But still i want my next device to play asphalt 8 without any issues as that would be the only game i'll be playing most of the time..

Microsoft's in house voice recognition sucks ass. Should see how Cortana functions. Also Google now is far far better than siri. But siri has a personality which Google now lacks.
