Tata Sky rebranding to Tata Play

A rebranding just for name sake like Airtel Xstream.
Would be called Tata Play Fiber and Tata Play STB to compete with Airtel and Jio I guess. lol

No mate you are wrong. They are providing IPTV through JioTV+ Here is the list of all channels, some of these channels are through OTTs : Spreadsheet of TV Channels.

Can any one confirm that the TV channels share being played as per the list given above . I am told that even now we have to go through OTT apps only .
Jio TV + does not give all the tv channels .

Far from it. Disney is pulling out, TATA will buy the stake and hence had to rename. It wasn't a marketing decision like Airtel.

Something so simple as TATA DTH would have worked just fine. Didn't have to make it for kids by calling it TATA Play.

Yes I am. I'm using the 999 plan and get all the channels in that list.
