Excitel Fiber Broadband in Bangalore - User Experience?

I wish i would have gone for 300mbps for 9 months -₹5000, rather went for 100mbps for 9 - ₹4000 months already in january.
I so wish to have an upgrade allowed in between plans

Ps: promo at excitel are on month end basis, they extend again if they feel so but guarantees are till month end. ~ source: SME friend at excitel
Also they are sure to cover gurgaon and delhi completely on fiber by this year with gurgaon in next 3 months. So would be a safe bet if same plan is showing for 100mbps.

i would most likely pay for monthly for a few months hoping that fiber would launch in my area.

would be cool if @philip marlowe can clarify if plans are pro-rated if customer upgrades to fiber. maybe i should start a new thread. someone might already have been in such a situation.

When customer upgrades to Fiber, his plan is shifted to Fiber Plan with similar pricing and upgraded speed

e.g. if you are on 50 Mbps plan you will be shifted to 100 Mbps for remaining duration

For some reason their web portal thinks the connection is inactive cause current session has been up for more than 5 days. Maybe they never expected uptime of a session to be more than 5 days?

Apparently the maximum session time is 10095.03 minutes, on fiber I always get admin reset after that
Also you should logout and login again or your session might get stuck like once happened with me

Interesting, will see how long it goes! 10095 minutes is 7 days.
