Hey man! I've switched to 1&1 from MTNL last week, on the first day I was getting about 1.4MBPS-2MBPS on steam and then after a few days I am getting 900KBPS to 960KBPS. Are you getting the same? Or are you getting the same download speed as it was before? The download speed on torrents is fine. The problem is just downloading in Steam. I'm using 8MBPS unlimited plan.

i noticed your earlier upload speed. am also on 2 mbps unltd plan, but getting a an upload speed of max 1.75 mbps, and least is 1 mbps. are you seeing degradation in UL speeds in your plan as well of late?

had called them a few mins back. got to know UL-speed is also 2mbps unltd for my plan (coming from MTNL, its a new thing for me regarding UL-speed). but was told that there's some line-work going on so i would witness less DL-UL speeds this weekend (yes; seeing fluctuations in speeds). i didn't speak more and decided to go directly to the office and then talk (its at walking distance anyway). screens in the OP would help; will take them along.
