Airtel Broadband Double Speed for Rs. 100 Offer

@indianshree.. the 256kbps Unlimited plan comes in two flavours.. unfortunaterly both are plain vanilla but cost different based on where you are. If you are in Delhi/other competitive area u get it for 699/- If you are unlucky like me and in NCR or similar region, u get it for 799/-
Same plan , differential pricing.. customer cheating. thats aritel for you.

@dragonball:- Heyy buddy, no one is unlucky, as you said..... its differential pricing by Airtel - different standards and alll........ they cheaters .... i had same experience for post-Mb conn too....
Btw I am located in Bangalore, and CC says no such plan details are available with them with ref to 649 plan.....

I dont know if good value for moollah plan are available for Bangaloreans, worse MTNL is unavailable here unlike other Metro's.............

Airtel is taking very simply/swiftly/turbo/impatience advantage of being only leading pvt ISP............

Need of hour is good competition just like mobile tariff competition for BB services toooo..........Hope it arrives soon.........................

From HYD, Just got my 256 kbps Ultd Rs. 699 plan upgraded to 512kbps Ultd for Rs. 100 per month. So now I am on Rs. 799+taxes at 512kbps. Airtel will be doubling all the speeds so I will be on 1 Mbps for Rs. 799 Ultd.

it has began my friend, atleast in Hyderabad..... Beam cables considered the worst ISP in our locality has rolled up their sleeves for tight competition.
Now their customer care consist of some executives who has knowledge & their CC is getting better day by day. Airtel cant even think to compete them in their tariff plan..... at-least not until year 2015.
On the other hand Tikona is trying to dominate the wireless broadband.

I will wait till July if airtel come up with better plans its ok else i will switch to beam, they are ready to waive the installation charge for me

About the "Airtel Broadband Double Speed for Rs. 100 Offer", i just called CC, they said its was only for selected customer (Informed by SMS) which was their only for the month of january. Now its outdated.

Dude, first of all I know about 899 plan, they are not shifting me to that plan as I don't want that plan because of the FUP. I am on Ulmited plan of Rs. 799.

I too was paying Rs. 799/- but later a plan came i.e 256kbps ult for 750/- so I chose that. Later I checked and found that there is another plan Rs. 699 for 256kbps so I changed it again. Then lastly I got to know about another new plan 384kbps ul for 699. Please note all these plans are in HYD, you have to call CC at 121 and ask them about this. They won't tell you if you won't ask them.

Lastly about the DELIGHT offer, yes it is for selected customers but if you want it just like I did, SMS DELIGHT to 53636 and wait for the call. You will get a call from BLR Airtel to confirm the offer and after 7 working days it should be doubled for the price of Rs. 100

If you call cc they will always say NO about this DELIGHT offer but I played smartly so I got it. Hurry, its only till 30th March.

i think they withdrawn the offer before 2 days.
never mind they have to bring all customer in equilibrium sooner or later.
Someone will reach there before time paying 100/- others will reach their paying the time. we just have to wait till June.

Hi guys,I am on Turbo 1299 plan. Airtel CC f**ers say that the plan is only for ppl with lower speeds. Anyway i just smsed delight and got the reply that it will be done within 96 hrs. Lets see what happens.

delight is not for delhi I think. It will probably activate some call charges on ur airtel landline phone :wall:
