my cordless does not support indian caller id standard so i have no idea if i have this facility or not. checking the bill.

i see no mention of caller id on my bill. i do have a local instrument which should confirm if caller id is activated on my connection or not. would check in the morning. remind me?
 
Well, I am talking to CC guy now. He has given me waiver of CLIP charges for current bill and confirmed that CLIP will never be charged again.

I did not have to tell Sushubh's number or any other info.
 
i think i should not distribute the airtel number like i distribute my mobile number as it is exclusively used by my dad and not me. :sweating:

If you want to make the caller id work just buy a dtmf to fsk converter. It would cost around rs 500. Looks like an adsl splitter. Just plug and forget.
