my cordless does not support indian caller id standard so i have no idea if i have this facility or not. checking the bill.

Well, I am talking to CC guy now. He has given me waiver of CLIP charges for current bill and confirmed that CLIP will never be charged again.

I did not have to tell Sushubh's number or any other info.

CLIP free on Airtel. I know many connections in family and friends. Never charged for CLIP ever.

If you want to make the caller id work just buy a dtmf to fsk converter. It would cost around rs 500. Looks like an adsl splitter. Just plug and forget.

well yeah. i have not found a reliable source. pretty overpriced on ebay when i last checked.
