Android Smartphone for around Rs. 20,000

This is for a person who currently has a Wave 3. Trying to save this person from making the mistake of buying Galaxy Grand. What would you suggest?

It matters! For app compatibility or rather efficiency of overall software w..r.t. hardware. Everything today about smart devices is better optimized for Qualcomm like web is for WebKit.

Dont go for USA phones.
My friend got a new HTC Inspire 4G phone, the battery had issues. Now he has to order a battery from USA.
It is always better to get a phone from India, will have no issues of servicing and parts
