I have not even tasted ice cream in last 5 months. I'm on strict diet with a target to reduce my weight from 106 kg to 70 kg. Weight is already down to 88 kg and this is without any exercise. Just controlled food intake has done the trick.

Earlier I used to eat samosas or Pizza almost every day in the office.

Best part is that my wallet is not complaining. Something that the admin of forum may want to consider... :)

Same here buddy.

Basically I halved my food intake with well spaced meals (2-3 hr gap).
I didnt run or do treadmill. I just walk 30 min every alternate days.
Beer is once a month and not over 1 pint.
Light weight training once a week.
I do enjoy ocassional Pizza or Baskin Robbins once a month though.
(Take 1 capsule of multi-vitamins) very important.

I started from 94 Kg 1 year back. Now I am 82 Kg. Target is 75 Kg.

BR prices in Mumbai are inline with those in Delhi.

Sad to hear about quality in Nirulas. Used to visit the nirula store at sector-16 Noida every weekend. Make ur own sundae was my fav, sometimes nutty buddy.Later used to visit nirula outlet at CP (Agent vinod climax scene is picturised there) every weekend with my GF for HCF.Have so many good memories over der

Well i find Amul is best over these creambell/cornette/motherdairy brands. Sadly amul outlets have become less over the time. Now i find them very less. When i was small, amul used to be present in almost 90% of kirana shops. Convinced local bakery to get rid of motherdairy and stock amul icecreams. That guy now reports sales have been good than motherdairy one :DI absolutely love chocochip icecram from amul. 1Ltr pack cost 140bucks. I eat almost 1ltr ice cream in one serving :~|

had a medium BR choco chips scoop yesterday at a ghatkopar mall for 100 Rs. my eyes went white :(

Ok, one of my friend manages a shop in one of the malls, I convinced him to check the price of the ice cream at the joint whenever possible, he called back just now & pretty much confirmed its the same as to what is in the images posted in the first page.

The impaired glucose tolerance that I have developed has ensured that I stay away from all sweets/mithai and ice-cream.My wallet definitely thanks me :) And have bought down my weight from 96 kilos to 84 now. Amul is a value for money choice. They do make some pretty amazing desserts.

Tbh, cornetto tastes like water ;)
neither does baskin robbins taste that much great.
Try cream bell that's better :p
i havent tried this..!
Cornetto double choclate, Rs. 35/-
Peace.
:) we can buy a complete box and store it in refri. BR = 1 day/1 time. Corn = 1 Week@?

Tbh, cornetto tastes like water ;)

well...price to performance of cornetto is much better i guess.
And there is no 'aakash patal' difference between tastes as well i guess.:nono:

The final prices just don't depend on Quality alone. It is a combination of Quality+ (needless)ad expenses+ (insane) profit margins+ massive profit plough back to USA(if applicable). In terms of quality alone, the difference can't even be justified for twice the cost in comparison to any good Indian brand like mother diary, amul etc.

So beware.....:smileysimmons:
