I called BSNL customer care (in Kerala) and customer care executive informed me that BSNL Broadband doubled the FUP speeds to 1 Mbps for all Broadband plans. Yesterday, One of the major news paper in Kerala displayed an advertisement about BSNL Broadband's new FUP speed.
Unfortunately I'm getting only 800 kbps speed even before FUP instead of 2Mbps speed. I registered a complaint via customer care executive and she informed me that the technician will check the speed and rectify the faults.

Why there is a huge price gap between 1445 and 2799. I wish they introduced a plan of 4 Mbps upto 100 GB and then 1 Mbps b/w this price range

On Rs 1445 plan. Not getting 4 mbps. Stuck on 3 - 3.5 mbps speed.

Check your line speed. Knowing BSNL it is probably kept at 4000kbps.

You are out of luck otherwise because BSNL can get away with giving you anything above 3.2mbps according to the regulations. I had to fight with the guy at the exchange to get my line speed increased. But that kind of messed up the quality of the line. The decision is tough. You want stability or extra 300-400kbps.

My plan was 15gb for 8mbps, now its showing 25gb. Nice move by bsnl, hope to get 1mbps after 25gb

No pre FUP speed upgrade for me still now. BSNL forgot to increase my speed. My patient decreasing day by day as some people like Sourav getting upgraded speed as per his plan. Now considering change plan if speed not increase as per my current plan.

Im on the BBG Combo ULD 1445## plan , but still stuck at 2 Mbps not 4
my Downstream Line Rate (Kbps)is 2047 ,is the change done at exchange level or district office ?
