so you want me to change the ip address ok fine i will but how and anything else needs to be changed
one more thing can you tell me in detail what means what (or how did u get to know so much about my connection)

that was not a Big deal ............. On the Screenshot u have given to me ...............On thing i want to make u clear was ........ if u use Dial-up option in Windows ....... its not possible to connect to INTERNET on wifi ....... u need to setup the dialer into the router itself ......... and while enabling the router's wifi ... make sure that .... encryption was enabled .. and lock that with a phrase word .............

kanishkaIf its not a big deal then plzz tell me howmarcopoloxpthe link is good but not quiet enough.i changes it to pppoe and the net stopped working then i changed it to bridged again Why so

From the Above image i saw that u have PPP adapter BSNL ..........

this says that u have Dial-up pppoe connection ...........

i think this is enough .... for the what connection u r using ..........

ok next comes to ip address range

IP address - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

on the first Screenshot ......... i saw that u got a ip range of 16 which is public and which are of HP office's in Los Angles

On the top u have Static button press it ...

then get the details
ip -- 192.168.1.3
maks 255.255.252.0
default gateway 192.168.1.1

Normally if u have one system in place ... u don't need to know about the private ip block .......
but when u have more than one u need to know about the private block ...
