BSNL Fiber Broadband new plans starting from 1 April 2024

i see a plan fiber experience with 399 plan , is it possible for me migrate to this plan if i am a existing customer , anyway it will change to fiber neo(my existing plan) after 6 months, my use is just 100 gb per month hardly.

@MEGAN Yes, You can change to NEO Plan by submitting application or contacting LCO directly. It will not cost you more than what Plan price is (even if you change it between the month)

@Protector i am already in neo , i was asking about fiber experience with 399 plan which is for 6 months then migrated automatically to neo which i already have. neo is 459 , fiber experience is 399 , so was thinking if possible to change to 399 plan for 6 months ..

The BSNL website has NOT been updated for ALL regions.
It still shows all the OLD plans with their old Speeds and FUP. It even mentions the "Plan Rs.449/- is for first 6 months only, then the subscriber will be migrated to Fibre Basic @ Rs.499/- or choice plan by customer."
Hence, BSNL Fibers users must inquire with their LCO/SDO or approach their local BSNL Office to get their plan changed.
It is strongly advised to wait this ENTIRE month. Frontend BSNL employees could be clueless about the developments, and hence they may not be able to help.
Has BSNL advertised the new plans, FUP, and their speeds?

True @alap4m

BSNL West Zone has yet to update plans on the BSNL website.

I'm waiting for the plans to update for Maharashtra and it seems that BSNL employees in Maharashtra are Super Lazy:

1) No IPv6 till now
2) Plans not updated on Website

I wonder why they don't wanna improve BSNL. They can gain profits if they seriously work on customer issues.

Its simple: Customer Satisfaction= Profits

But why would they care about profits? It's a government job and they have the job security. Even if BSNL melts tomorrow there won't be a problem to them... In fact they'll be happy not to work and take free salary. This is the problem with PSU's in India and I'm always surprised how people don't understand this...

@unnecessary That's basically the problem of EVERY PSU. Be it SBI, LIC, BSNL, MTNL, and countless other Government Offices in India.
With BSNL it is often just ONE question: Is your Internet working? If the answer is Yes, then it's CASE CLOSED.
Most BSNL employees do not care or perhaps even know about Routing, Latency, Ping, Jitter, Symmetric/Asymmetric, Tx, Rx, IPv6, TR069, or anything else beyond PPPoE, VLAN ID, and PON light is Green or Red.
And this problem goes RIGHT to the top.
WHY else would the WEBSITE be showing OLD Plans, FUP, and other outdated conditions, EVEN AFTER changes have already taken place at the Backend? Other companies would advertise such upgrades even before they are rolled out.
BSNL is such a high-potential, Critically needed company for ENTIRE India. Even more significant is that it has PAN-INDIA coverage with LAKHS of Kiolmeters of Fiber already laid.

i would like to tell what happend at my place - first adsl was there - digging servered all of them , 1.5 mon nothing could be done, and they got orders to convert all to fiber - now the big problem arised - the exchange guys were happy and working on it but when it came to our place - the local (powerfull) fiber dint allow it . then i came to know after some few weeks , some arrangements were made -- guess what lol , team a paid to team local ! and now for 6 month running - i am much happy with fiber as i was with adsl when it was working except a week or 2 when cables cut in digging or adsl, fibers happend too but repair of fiber is faster just takes a day or few hours .
another thing i heard - some wants to work , but they are stopped in some ways so customer opts for other brands for time delayed .
this one is true tho - little more into details - they dont know much - all they will do , replace wires , restart with help of other people in other offices.
now that fiber is there - its really a relief for exhange lol - they are like yay we dont have to work , now the LCO will take care of everything lol

@alap4m Your Internet issues are with 'Vendors'. There are usually 2 - 3 Vendors available at 1 location so try to get your 'Vendor' changed. That's the most quick and reliable thing to get your ISP Stable. I've done it few months ago as my 'Vendor' got changed due to Change of Location from one-home-to-another. So, Try to visit Nearby BSNL Exchange and contact SDO (not LCO) and get it resolved.

To choose your Vendor, Get some detail regarding them in your area and choose best one for better experience.
