HELP me guys ........Your suggestions required......I 'm getting this weird problem since last 2 days.........I 've two parallel line in our house & whenever I pick up the phone frm living room to attend or to make a call my Net gets disconnected, but there is no problem when I attend or make a call frm my roomActually Main connection frm MTNL is in my room where PC is kept & frm that Line another parallel connection is taken to Living roomThis problem is arising since we purchased a new telephone instrument for our living room [which is frm reputed company & is working fine]Will installing a splitter help or wat else I 've to do to rectify the prob.??Phone line working fineModem : GLB 502T [Inbuilt Splitter] thanks in advance.

b4 new instrument u had following setup ? telephone line--->splitter--->telephone instrument(old) + adslafter new tele instrument i think following should betelephone line---->splitter--->adsl + (splitter--->tele instrument(old)+ tele instrument(new)) i m not sure but my logic says this

Hi i just switched to MTNL after a gap of 2 years now the issue is that i have configured my ip as 192.168.1.250 in the lan settings and they are all in order.. I give this ip to my friends to connect to me and they are unable to do so... Its getting very frustrating now as i am unable to play any games due to this.. Please advice me...

192.168.1.250, will not work at all, you need your extension Ip as MTNL mostly set your connection to dynamic IP so when ever your modem is started or disconnection happens then your ext ip get changed you can check your ext ip at the link below

I know right now im playing fifa 10 a lot in the game my ip is shown as 192.168.1.250 and on the sites it shows a different ip.. Im aware of that but my friends cant connect to me with either of the ips.. Thats the issue i have tried setting it to automatically configure ip but its still not working...Please help

then it may require the opening of particular port for that particular game, if you have port opened then your friend may not have, try opening port for the game in firewall and also in your modem
