Oh nice didn't know excitel started providing services in Bangalore.
Probably will try when spectra screws up big time in future.
Was eyeing for airtel / bsnl. I need port forwarding so not sure about excitel yet.

Wanted to test jio too but the owner of my house doesn't want them to dig the ground

I have shared you the voip config of my setup. can you please guide me on how to make changes in order to make out going calls ?

Just to give an update, I paid the initial charges on Saturday ie 22nd. Ie Rs 1999 as 3 months rental incl GST and Rs. 750 as security deposit for the ONT. Did it online through the My Excitel portal.

The Excitel contact person has told installation would be done tomorrow (I wasn't in Bangalore and would be reaching only tomorrow anyway), he said the cabling till my location is being done currently. Anyway will know tomorrow.

Didn't happen today! Apparently the cabling required is more than what they anticipated and it didn't get complete. I simply wasted my time working from home (first they said 12:30, then 3:30). Said would be done by tomorrow, let's see.

Today also no installation, the Excitel sales guy took the cable operator in a conference call and the operator told it would be definitely done by tomorrow EOD. Have to wait and see.
