@FujiwaraTofu its normal multiple lcos serving same area. My area has many and all can provide excitel fiber but not all are close to my home. Shifting to excitel fiber from other lco means new wiring. And even from same lco he may have to do new wiring but that depends how knowledgeable is person installing fiber. Last time i inquired almost all lcos of my area, there was shortage of dumb onus and company pushing these wifi onus. One of my friend has applied online for dumb onu recently in dwarka and his lco said it will come in one week. let's see when dumb onu comes for him. Talk to ur lco may be he is taking excitel fiber as well and if not shift to ur neighbor lcos but do ask ur neighbor whether connection is stable or not

@FujiwaraTofu usually 2 LCO in one area is rare as all of them have their designated areas distributed. Which area of delhi you are from?

@apurvgupta1 thats not the case in reality. Previously only my lco has excitel but thereafter many nearby lcos took excitel franchise. As u know fiber can be laid for kms so nearby area lco can also provide fiber to u. But some areas have big LCOs most probably some big cable operator who have monopoly since years and they don't let small operators to work. AFAIK from excitel there is no such area distribution coz if that was the case there should only be 1 lco for my area, for excitel more the merrier. @ijsa took excitel fiber from other lco nearby as his lco was not providing

@opomiyulen That's great if this is the case in reality. My LCO guy told me that they are big cable network player and have LCO in several areas of Delhi for excitel and whatever area they are in, they have monopoly. Probably that is why, they are least bothered about customer service.

I spoke to my LCO, according to him he has applied for Excitel Fiber and my plans should be updated in a couple of weeks. Let's see if that is the case or if he is only stalling. @apurvgupta1

I was with Jai Guru Ji Cable TV Network, for many years ... Praveen is the owner.... I moved out to Excitel Fiber through other LCO(Balaji Digital Cable TV Network, Ram Nagar). I paid only for ONU security Rs750. No installation charges paid.

After the initial hitch, now the things are smooth...
