I think only if crime is of same category. Like if all cases are of burglary then jail terms will run parallel.
But if category is different, terms may be added.
not sure about 2 completely different crimes but for a single crime involving say theft,rape and murder if he gets convicted in all the sections and awarded 3,10 and 20 years respectively then he needs to spend only 20 years in jail,not 33.
