it's one of the illogical scenarios. the thread they complained about was a discussion about airtel blocking access to torrent sites. the objection was that the thread was linking to torrent sites. i removed all the links. filed an appeal. appeal was rejected. they complained about threads about apps that allows downloading videos from youtube. i decided to get rid of all threads related to torrents and file sharing and youtube downloads. did that. filed a second appeal. waiting for a response which would probably take a day or two. i am guessing someone reported to google because this forum has been online for 10 years now and has never had this problem and we have always had discussions related to torrent search engines and downloading apps.

we don't discuss piracy here ..rather we just discuss news about sites ..like torrentfreak. is that even legal?

Just to be on the safer side...theres nothing illegal in it...

I cannot have Google Ads on pages featuring names and links to apps and websites that are known for copyright infringement. That's what their terms of use states.

I should get the response to my second appeal today. Hopefully they would reinstate the ad serving. I cannot think of anything that might be breaking their terms of use right now.
