the problem of running a mid-range product is that you do not need a dedicated and shared and vps are designed to push you towards a dedicated.

errm. what kind of a server are we talking about? my problem is not storage space or bandwidth. it is more about server resources and access to things like apc cache, elasticsearch and if possible google pagespeed and spdy.
