duh. how many people in india would be on their second android considering it is a two year old platform and android devices just recently started arriving in the local market?

As expected, the phone is company sealed and seller has provided a bill with VAT component. Phone is just awesome. Its on 2.1 eclair now. Want to use 2.1 for a couple of days and will upgrade to 2.2 later By doing this i can see how better 2.2 is. Galaxy S is light years ahead of my 5800XM. Touch sensitivity is superb. Screen is awesome and my wife was shocked to see i purchased a phone worth 27K (i didnt tell her after placing an order). She liked phone too. Now my wife will be using 5800XM replacing her Nokia N73.Android has soooooooo many features and never can be compared to Symbian. Symbian is outdated, i dont know how its in N8 but i am very happy to own a Galaxy S after spending hell lot of money. This is most expensive phone purchased by me. Next was Sony W800i for 24K and then E71 for 20K and some other chota mota phones here and there.

well it comes loaded with symbian^3. have not used symbian based phones at all so no clue how good it is. the value for money thing is definitely there.

Symbian UI is smiple and good. It suits aged people as well as it is easy to work with. But Symbian UI is same starting from their Nokia 6600 till this N8. Its very boring.

@Admin, Value for money thing will only be felt during purchase. Later when you compare N8 to other competitors, Nokia phones loose the race because all Nokia Symbian phones have similar UI and features. Point i am trying to make is all aymbian phones are same with difference in home screen and some features here and there.

I am not blaming N8 or any other Nokia Phone. Infact i myself have purchased over 8 Nokia phones (5 Symbian) till date.
There are much better phones in market for similar price. I feel Nokia's strategy is similar to Maruti's. To cut costs source products like a steering in bulk and you will see same steering in SX4, Swift, Ritz, Dzire and even Grand Vitara. I may be wrong but this is what i think.
