Fully Automatic Washing Machine and Dishwasher

I want to buy a Fully Automatic Washing Machine and a Dishwasher.
I have a family of 5. So would 8 Kg fully automatic front load washing machine be fine?
Front load or Top load?
I don't have much knowledge about these appliances. The machines should do most of the work and there should be minimum human effort.
Please provide your suggestions.
I don't have a budget but don't wanna overspend.
Would appreciate value for money model recommendations.

Edge cases do occur. I have a Panasonic refrigerator, once it's fan gave up and it took them 1 month to get replacement part. Since then, I directly call the engineer and my complaint is attended same day. Need to find workarounds

here is my 2 cents. ifb is fine. service support is okish here in gurgaon. after owing 2 ifbs, i went with LG last year and it has been also fine. a bit expensive compared to ifb range. Bosch is also fine but vijay sales guy said that lg support is best in segment. but then their opinion is probably biased based on margins from different companies.

experience from installation and service demo? ifb guy would be more interested in selling you accessories like water filter, stand, cover, descaling powder than actually explaining the features of the washing machine. lg guy did not push for any sales. did not bother explaining the features of the machine but did answer most queries correctly. but overall both visits were eventually sad. next time perhaps i would go for samsung. it's even more expensive compared to LG machines i believe. hopefully not for a lot of years.

the lg model i have is 8KG capacity. the wifi capable model. i have a major vibration issue with lg. called lg guy 2-3 times and every time he would come and paste 3m patches on the floor to improve grip. no one bothered to check with the leveling of the machine. even today, the machine is slightly slanted and i have been unable to fix it. the end result is that we never run it at 1200 rpm. end up using 800rpm. on 1200rpm the machine would most definitely move a foot ahead because of the vibrations. seems stable at 800rpm.

of course, do not go for the cheaper machines from flipkart or Amazon. they barely have 1-2 years of support and no guarantee of parts after that. most branded machines would have 8-10 years of parts availability.

I agree with Sushubh, don't do for Flipkart machines. They are plastic ka dabba. I got a semi auto of Marq even though we have one fully auto, that machine is so light one person can easily lift it. Moreover, it has already broken once.
After my last experience with Flipkart I have decided not make any high value purchase from Flipkart again.

yup. i would not even buy mixers from flipkart billion now. i mean they are decent products. well priced. but early on, flipkart provided home service. now they ask you to visit their service center. no sir, thank you.

For these type electronics, I stay away from Bajaj electrical. Their products are third class and Service is even worse. Now morphy Richard's has also outsourced after sales to Bajaj and that is also blacklisted for me.

@mikrotik Yes, it's sad... Morphy Richards products are good but the after sales is handled by stupid bajaj electricals which is a third rated company.
I've had very bad experience with them.

I'll either go with LG or IFB. Father is pushing for IFB as we had bought fully automatic one for my maternal grandparents and not a single issue in 8 years.

Next recommendation is to buy local. Too much possibility of body getting damaged during shipment. Might cost a bit more though especially if you are considering getting it during the upcoming sale.

You can buy from Amazon they provide open box delivery. Not sure if this is followed during these times. Do check product page
