How to check BSNL Broadband Account Usage?

dear friend pl dont worry abt it. . . even several of my friends have the same prob. . . its bcoz bsnl bb has been givin out bb to all those applied and has not created a seperate account for all. .. thus compelling the users to be careful in usage. . . it would take atleast another 10-15 days for the account to be created it seems. . . so pl wait patiently and get the account work done. . . also be careful in ur usage. . . if possible use some netmeter soft for counting the usage. .. u can also set night unlimited time for not countin it in usage. . . try it out. .
 
Hi Buddy! You will be given a separate userid for accessing BSNL portal. You cannot access the portal using the userid that has been given to you initially(for connecting to the internet).

To check usage for the present. Reasonably accurate. NO new user has confirmed usage check other than DeepakJ, who was very helpful, to give us maximum information.( about email from Dataone CC)


The position is as follows :
1. Old users continue to check without any problem.
2.New users with Ip starting 117. seem to have problem
3.When you login to Dataone WebMail all confusion there.
4.Check account at the top is for Email account.
5.Go slowly to bottom of page to avoid traffic jam !
6.You will see another option dataone account usage.
7. If you delicately click this , hopefully you will reach your USAGE page.
8. If not successful, try DQUF by sunil sunish.net | - Thinkings of a tinker who thinks he's a thinker.
9.Still "No go" contact 1800 424 1600 and pour out your problems.

Para two : ID and password entered in modem
2. Different ID /password to check Usage.
3. Different ID and password to check email at webmail of Dataone.
4. Different ID/password to have Selfcare options on line.
Hope the matter is Clear now or More Confusion ?
My IP now is 59.92.39.84 browser firefox addon DataFox shows beautifully in green usage as 733.MB
quota left for today about 15MB. I am on Home 250 2Mbps plan.
So I normally don't visit any BSNL sites to check my usage.
But in case Usage of Airtel you cannot use any external program.

returend undelivered for unknown reasons ,contents of the emails
placed below are self explainatory kindly see what you can do to see
that customers are able to access the website for checking usage of
new account holders of braodband under IP Address 117....we are not
able to access any website to check our Broadband usage? my user id is
: bhinderj,telephone number 080-2xxxxxxx[Bangalore],tele number
1800-424-1600 has no clue how to access the uasge under above IP

try posting No 6. Usually for old dataone users. usualy Ip starting 59

Probably as a new user with IP starting 117. you have to use a
different ID and PW
NOT the ID and Password you use in the modem.

hey dude iam using 2mbps connection but i cant check my account usage
when i log on to Dataone WebMail and click on account usage it
redirects me to sancharnet
ive tried logging to urls like www.10.240.240.195/weblogin.jsp and
many others but it simply says page cannot be displayed
pls help

Check your email for ID & PW to check usage of Dataone.

Hi all !,
I had airtel and have just moved to BSNL ! and since i am on 500 plan
i really want to check my usage ! and logon to BSNL PORTAL(BSNL
Portal) to avail services like changing the password !!.
I was just given the dataone userID and Password for logging on to the
internet !! nothing else was given to me ! not even a printed paper !
... i was told my userID and Password on phone !! and i configured the
modem myself ! coz i allready had a modem !..
After reading many threads and posts here, i have YET to find a
solution to logon to the BSNL PORTAL !... No one in my local
exchange(also 1500) knows about the new method ! they all know about
the OLD METHOD of - "clicking check usage in dataone.in and the
entering the userid and password which we use to fill in modem!" BUT
that method doesnt works! otherwise i would not have been writing this
thread !!!....some people

DataOne: I am here to help)), suggested to call to 1800-424-1600 but
the BSNL guys over there also DOnt know about any other UserID and
Password other then the 1 allready given to me for accesing the
internet !! they keep telling me to login with my same ID ! but when i
insist that it is not at all working and i am getting invalid userID
and Password ..they tell me that the "WEBSITE is not working properly
!!!" ... I have also NOT got any E-mail on my BSNL email ID containing
PORTAL userID and Password !
NEW USERS dont CHECK usage with IP method !! WE HAVE TO LOGIN TO THE
BSNL PORTAL ! and thus NONE of the softwares would WORK !
Many Other NEW USERS (october onwards) seemed to have started SUCH
threads but have not clarified if they have finally got the solution
yet or not !!(since thay got connection in october they might have got
solution to this problem by now! or otherwise they would still be here
finding the solution for BSNL portal userID!)
I got connection on 6th nov ! ... can it be that i WILL get a
E-mail(frm customer care) on my BSNL E-mail ID after some
days(15-30days) ?( contaning BSNL PORTAL userID etc... ),without doing
anything ! coz i can unerstand they might get late in sending E-mails
!.It may be that OTHER NEW USERS may have got the E-mail and might
just have forgotten to tell others that - "NOT TO BORTHER AND WE ALL
WILL GET E-MAILS contaning BSNL PORTAL userID" !! MAYBEeeee.... OR
maybeee the website will actually UPDATE in a few days and then i will
be able to login with my dataone userID and password which i use in
the modem!(they might just have not yet authenticated/authorised my
userID and password on their website!)
