How to use static IP with bridged mode?

Solved. Here's how.
I had to disable static IP configuration from the ONT and change it to just bridge comfiguration, then configured static Ip details in other router. It connected and working properly.

Just saw your message bro. Anyways, you followed the right steps. Keep in mind ONT is a bridge and performs no functions other than providing the physical layer L1 of the OSI stack. That's how it's always done. Any configuration changes are to be done at the router/firewall not the ONT.

@Chip one issue I am still facing, the connections breaks every 22-25 minutes. No idea how. I have to reconnect it by tapping on connect button. Why is it happening?

@nishantt6969 you need to check if the dial-on-demand setting is active. Uncheck/deactivate it.

PS - This is done on the router only...check the PPPoE connection properties.

No such settings can be found. The router never breaks itself off from internet while connected via lan cable(non bridge), but now the disconnection feels perioidic with period anywhere between 22-25 minute.

DHCP lease is also set to infinite seconds in ONT.
